Typeface
Type design
Beboop started off as a workshop with Monotype designer Marie Boulanger but through continued development I shaped a display typeface. The curves and roundedness in beboop were the inspiration for the typeface, exaggerating the circles within the word to follow a grid structure that could be applied to each letter.

This project pushed me to explore the rules of typography and learn to treat letters with precision. I learnt how to use glyphs as a tool to enhance this typeface and its a skill I’m eager to build on.
